Warmshell Meshcoat a highly flexible, lightweight base coat for use with Lime Green's Warmshell system
Warmshell Meshcoat is used as the first layer in our Warmshell External Wall Insulation (EWI) system. It is a high-performance lime base coat specifically designed to level the insulation and provide impact, fire and weather resistance to woodfibre boards. It may also be used on other backgrounds such as masonry, as required.
A combination of natural and synthetic fibres as well as recycled lightweight aggregates enhance its performance in protecting the woodfibre boards from the aggressive British climate whilst allowing the building to breathe, move whilst providing a durable base for our decorative Thincoat and Natural Finish top coats.

Application Guide
First layer in the Warmshell External Wall Insulation system. Apply in two thin passes the same day with Warmshell mesh trowelled into the first pass. Smooth mesh from top down before applying the remaining material over the top. Each strip of mesh should overlap the previous by 100mm. Apply additional mesh in diagonal strips at windows and door openings.
The total thickness of the coat (both passes) should be 8 to 10mm, with the first pass at least 5mm thick.
While the coat is curing protect it from sun, drying winds, frost and rain. Work in temperatures between 5°C and 30°C – do not apply on backgrounds in direct sunlight where the surface temperature is excessive (over 30°C).
